I was not a fan of Brussel sprouts until I discovered how well they pair with balsamic vinegar. It makes all the difference! I went from not liking this vegetable to loving it. The recipe is super simple and comes together easily. When I opened my Fresh Midwest veggie box and saw brussel sprouts, I immediately knew how to roast them. This delicious recipe will feed 4 people.
Ingredients:
- 1 bag of brussel sprouts (4 cups)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp paprika
Directions:
1. Spray a flat baking pan with cooking spray. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
2. Rinse and dry brussel sprouts. Slice in half or keep whole if they’re 1 inch or less, add to the pan.
3. Using garlic press, press 2 garlic cloves and spread over the brussel sprouts.
4. Pour the olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the sprouts
5. Sprinkle it with salt and paprika and stir.
6. Place in the oven for 30 min. Stir half-way.
7. Enjoy!
